The Annual Salary Review service offered by MERC allows companies to maintain their current competitive position in the market place or change their market position to be more competitive. This service includes:
- a review of the company's position to identify comparable positions in the most appropriate MERC compensation survey - this may be an industry, location or general compensation survey
- compensation comparison within the client company including the "mix" of benefits and cash payments
- a review of the client's compensation strategy and benefits practices to ensure the company is competitively placed in view of emerging trends in compensation practices in the market
- recommendations covering salary increments, benefit practices and a forecast of salary inflation over the next 12 months
