A subsidiary of a world’s largest and most modern production facility for telepresence and conference solutions wishes to appoint a high caliber Quality and Reliability Engineer.  The corporation develops modern image and voice solutions for VDO conference, audio conference, VDO cameras, etc. The successful candidate will ensure quality operations of both the company’s and suppliers’.

The Quality and Reliability Engineer will:

• Perform product tests as required by customer standards and company standard
  
• Interact daily with contract manufacturers and worldwide affiliates to drive quality and reliability initiatives 
  
• Partner with contract manufacturers to drive the improvement of product quality and reliability, provide guidance on process, testing, and reporting
  
• Explore and coordinate on multi faceted testing process including DMT, IQC, ICT, Burn In, ORT, OOBA and ESS testing
  
• Work hand in hand with the operations business units and engineering teams to implement quality/ reliability and process control at contract manufacturers
  
• Interface with external customers and internal departments (Engineering, Service, Operations, Procurement, and Program Management) to resolve quality / reliability issues and drive continuous improvement
  
• Drive source inspection at contract manufacturers, monitor data to ensure product quality / reliability, conduct supplier quality audits
  
• Provide root-cause analysis and corrective actions for quality / reliability issues and provide reports for the management team
  

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age over 27 years
  
• Degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering or other related discipline
  
• Minimum 5 years experience in production operations and quality assurance of an electronics industry
  
• Knowledge of DMT, IQC, ICT, Burn-in, ORT, OOBA, ESS testing as well as Statistical Process Control
  
• Comfort to conduct supplier visits and audits; willing to travel overseas as needed
  
• Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
  
• Good command of both written and spoken English; verbal Chinese would be advantage
