The world’s largest and most modern production facility for natural lactic acid and related products, with a new plant under construction on adjoining land in Rayong, wishes to appoint a Senior Process Technologist. 

Reporting to the Technology Manager, the Senior Process Technologist will play a key role in:

• Developing solutions to minimize problems in the production process
  
• Analyzing current processes, floor layout, facility justification, defining improvement projects, and leading in the implementation of such projects
  
• Participating in process design for new facilities, including conceptual and basic design, construction and start-up
  
• Contributing to worldwide and local project implementation
  
• Developing programs and/or methods to optimize production and reducing cycle time, manufacturing loss, and overall costs
  
• Assuring process or product adherence to the company’s quality program/ plans by performing audits and recommending corrective actions
  
• Monitoring, measuring manufacturing loss and developing new techniques to reduce loss and improve the quality
  
• Recommending and implementing changes to product or process that would improve cost, delivery, and quality for the customer
  
• Participating in overall product strategy, development, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age around 30 - 40 years
  
• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Microbiology or equivalent
  
• Minimum 7 years experience in continuous or batch process chemical or food production, with 3 years in the similar position
  
• Experience with plant start-up and/ or implementing new technologies
  
• Foreign educated and/ or experience in working for a multinational company is a distinct advantage
  
• Result-oriented, analytical, good at problem-solving, and with excellent communication, interpersonal and team-work skills
  
• Good command of both written and spoken English
