A manufacturer of compressors and electric motors is currently expanding its production capacity to produce more than 1 million units per year. When completed, the plant will employ over 1,000 people. An IT Manager is required who will head-up the IT function, infrastructure and project development, at the plant in Rayong province.

The IT Manager is expected to:

• Coordinate with the IT teams in Hong Kong , China, and the U.S. on IT infrastructure and project development
  
• Supervise IT team members on software development projects, Oracle project implementation, and ensure fulfillment of project requirements
  
• Supervise IT team members on the infrastructure project and related support, ensure fulfillment of project requirements
  
• Serve as database administrator
  
• Ensure effective function of applications and optimum utilization of applications
  
• Train users, prepare manuals for all applications, provide helpdesk support to all users

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age over 30 years
  
• Degree in Computer Science or other related discipline  
  
• Minimum 10 years experience in system administration and software development for a manufacturing firm
  
• Thorough knowledge of SOX internal audit requirements, international trade and finance regulations
  
• Keen on operating Oracle and MS Office applications
  
• Detail-oriented with strong computation, communication, and team management skills
  
• Must have experiences working for a MNC; possess awareness of multi-cultural work environment
  
• Good command of both written and spoken English
