A well-established construction contractor for civil, mechanical and electrical work is currently seeking a competent professional for the position of Business Development Manager to direct all business development activities of the company. The company’s clients include industrial, commercial and municipal sectors throughout Thailand.

Directly reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager will:

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and initiating new projects with IEAT
  
• Develop short-term and long-term strategic plans for new and existing products/ services
  
• Prepare and conduct presentations to prospective customers 
  
• Ensure business negotiations are executed to protect the company’s interests
  
• Organize, update business development database
  
• Recruit, train, delegate, and evaluate responsible staff to ensure attainment of required performance 
  
• Develop and maintain an effective information system to facilitate business development and management reporting
  
• Prepare regular reports and analysis of new business achievements, opportunities, and targets

Qualifications required:

• Thai national, age around 30 - 45 years
  
• Degree in an Engineering field; an MBA would be an advantage
  
• Experience in wastewater operations with minimum 5 years experience in marketing or business development
  
• Thorough knowledge of safety, ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 standards
  
• Strong analytical, planning, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  
• Ability to persuade and negotiate effectively with middle to high-level corporate management and public officials 
  
• Good command of both spoken and written English
