A subsidiary of a multinational company manufacturing HVAC systems, including electric motors for local and export markets wishes to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer for the factory in Bangkok.

Reporting to the Engineering Division Manager, HVAC, the Manufacturing Engineer is expected to:

• Prepare designs, modify jigs/ equipment or the production process to meet with customer specifications
  
• Design, revise the process to ensure highest productivity, reduce non-value process and all kinds of loss
  
• Control, reduce the cost of production materials and supplies
  
• Contribute to problem-solving regarding the process, provide technical support, precautions, recommendations to other departments including suppliers and clients to prevent and control loss
  
• Support in new product development
  
• Control technical documents and prepare weekly reports for the immediate supervisor
  
• Implement ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 standard and participate in internal audits

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age over 25 years
• Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing process control and engineering design
• Experience in implementing productivity improvement techniques and preparing engineering drawings
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 quality management standard and environmental standard
• Ability to communicate internally and externally on product specifications, precautions, application/ maintenance tips, etc.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization, communications, and problem-solving skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English
