An authorized truck distributor for Ford Cargo, Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, TATA and FUSO fleet-sales customers in Aid & Development markets in the Middle East, Africa and Asia is seeking an experienced automotive professional for the post of Automotive Technical Trainer.
Reports to the Group Service Manager, the Automotive Technical Trainer will:
- Visit business units in various countries to compile training needs
- Develop/ update the competency-based programs, training models in co-operation with the management for the after-sales department
- Attend training courses held by the manufacturer, ensure the information is cascaded to relevant staff members within the Group and customers
- Develop training materials, course manuals, workbooks, handouts, certificates
- Deliver training programs to meet requirements and needs of the employees and customers
- Conduct post-training evaluation, provide feedback to line supervisors, and to improve training operations
- Maintain all employer training records and training library in all media
- Provide technical support and guidance for advance trouble-shooting to technicians/ service engineers as required
- Prepare and submit required reports and feedback (including statistics and progress reports on trainees) to the supervisor
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Thai national, age over 30 years
- Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- Minimum 4 years experience in after-sales operations; preferably in the heavy commercial vehicle business
- Self-motivated; willing to travel for prolonged periods
- Analytical approach to problem-solving with strong attention to details
- Excellent computer skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skill in English
