The world’s largest and most experience manufacturer of natural lactic acid and gluconates with factories in America, Europe and Thailand wishes to appoint Senior Process Engineer to join the team.

Reporting to the Technology Manager, the Senior Process Engineer will play a key role to:

• Develop solutions to minimize problems in the production process
  
• Analyze current processes, define improvement projects, and lead in the implementation of such projects
  
• Participate in process design for new facilities, including conceptual and basic design, construction and start-up
  
• Contribute to worldwide and local project implementation
  
• Develop programs and/or methods to optimize production and reduce cycle time, manufacturing losses, and overall costs
  
• Assure process or product adheres to the company quality program and plans by performing audits and recommending corrective action
  
• Monitor and measure manufacturing losses and develop new techniques to reduce loses and improve quality
  
• Analyze processes to recommend floor layout and facilities justification
  
• Recommend and implement changes to product or process that would improve cost, delivery, and quality for the customer
  
• Participate in overall product strategy, development, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age around 30 - 40 years
  
• Degree in Chemical Technology, Microbiology, or comparable studies
  
• Minimum 7 years experience in continuous or batch process chemical or food production, with 3 years in the similar position
  
• Experience with plant start-up and/ or implementing new technologies
  
• Foreign educated and/ or experience in working for a multinational company is a distinct advantage
  
• Result-oriented, analytical, good at problem-solving, and with excellent communication, interpersonal and team-work skills
  
• Good command of both written and spoken English
