A manufacturer and supplier of food and food additives wishes to employ an experienced QA Section Manager for its plant in Kalasin.

Reporting to the Technical Director, the QA Section Manager will:

• Manage the work system of the laboratory, test methods, standard manuals, etc.
  
• Plan and control the use of required resources as well as individual job responsibilities of team members
  
• Approve in-coming raw materials, in-process quality control, and final product quality control
  
• Communicate within the Technical Department, across departments, and with customers on product specifications and related standards
  
• Control non-conformity products
  
• Coordinate with outside laboratory in testing support such as microbial test
  
• Provide training on test procedures, instrument operations and monitor staff performance to ensure conformance of related standard
  
• Report on quality performance and relevant issues to the Technical Manager

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age around 28 - 32 years
  
• Degree in Chemistry or Food Science
  
• Minimum 5 years experience in quality assurance or laboratory management
  
• Working knowledge of safety and quality management standards for the food industry
  
• Familiarity with CMMS application to manage a large scale manufacturing and other lab application
  
• Good organization, communication, and teamwork skills
  
• Comfortable to live in Kalasin province
  
• Good command of both written and spoken English
