A US-based multinational corporation, ranked in the top 100 Fortune 500 companies, with a highly successful Facility Management Solutions Outsourcing Business Unit, wishes to hire a Country Operations Manager for its operations in Thailand.Salary range Baht 120,000 - 180,000 per month.

The Country Operations Manager will:

• Manage and direct the Facility Management Solutions (FMS) outsourcing business to achieve optimum profitability by delivering integrated FM services to multiple clients; direct planning activities and provide leadership and guidance on the operation and administration of the business
  
• Direct the policy and operations of the FMS outsourcing business for the achievement of short and long term business/policy objectives, increased profit and market share
  
• Excellence in customer satisfaction and strong customer relationship management by focusing on responsiveness and communications as well as meeting and/or exceeding customer’s expectations
  
• Operational excellence through responsiveness, service delivery, quality and productivity
  
• Continuous improvement through innovation, knowledge management and leadership
  
• Establish a country FMS business plan, capturing strategic initiatives and targets for the business operation taking into account the business environment, markets and client base
  
• Review and approve all line of business plans (FM Accounts), appraise the activities of the FMS business according to the strategies and objectives, monitors and evaluates performance
  
• Provide leadership and operational strategy for business development resources to ensure that the pipeline is established and new sales secured, targets are met and/or exceeded
  
• Ensure that financial and operational excellence is continually achieved across all FM Accounts
  
• Prepare and oversee the preparation of consolidated budgets, required reports and forecasts, and present them or recommends their adoption by the Country Management Team
  
• Provide operational leadership in problem solving and decision making to ensure that account issues and challenges are resolved proactively
  
• Represent the organization in major contract negotiations, customer/account management at Senior levels
  
• Select or approve the selection and training of managers, establish lines of control, delegate responsibilities and provide operational leadership in problem-solving and decision-making
  
• Work closely with the customers, peers and subordinates to foster a strong working relationship and build strong win-win relationships
  
• Establish a standard monthly performance scorecard to provide performance reports on quality, safety, financial management, service delivery and customer satisfaction
  
• Direct the implementation of the Health Safety & Environmental (HS&E) program and ensure that all program goals and objectives are met and/or exceeded

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age over 35 years
  
• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; an MBA would be an advantage
  
• Minimum 10 years experience in the technical services or facility management (operating and maintenance)
  
• Proven profit and loss management track-record; able to demonstrate successful sales growth, balanced performance in customer satisfaction, service delivery, and employee development
  
• Good at problem-solving, analytical, human relationship management skills
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
  
• Ability to work cross-culturally
  
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
