An international company engaged in contract manufacturing of steel and aluminum products wishes to appoint three Engineers for its new production operation in Thailand. The factory will produce light-weight, portable stainless steel and aluminum products for the catering industry, using the latest technology.

The Engineer will be hands-on in assisting the Factory Manager in organizing the pre-start-up activities for the factory. The appointees will:

• Assist in the installation of production machinery and equipment for metal casting, milling, laser cutting, punching and pressing
  
• Establish preventative maintenance schedules/ adjust work procedures in alignment with changed product specifications
  
• Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments
  
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and direct setup and adjustment of machines
  
• Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems
  
• Estimate, request, and inspect materials
  
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of products
  
• Maintain time and production records

Qualifications and Skills:

• Thai national, age around 27 - 35 years
  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in metal casting, milling, laser cutting, punching and pressing, CNC machines, and tooling
  
• Background in implementing ISO quality standard and SHE standard
  
• Good leadership skill and computer skill
  
• Able to communicate effectively in English
