The Group manufacturers and distributes a range of chemicals, including engineering plastics, resins, and synthetic rubber for local industrial clients as well as others in South East Asia. With plants together with the R&D Center located in Rayong and an office in Bangkok, the company presently employs 550 people, and wishes to appoint a highly experienced Supply Chain Manger.

The Supply Chain Manager will:

• Set logistics strategies, establish policy and work procedures for sourcing, purchasing, receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping
  
• Establish operational and budget plan for supply chain operations
  
• Negotiate and conclude commercial contracts with strategic suppliers/ partners
  
• Develop and maintain business relationships with strategic suppliers/ partners to ensure smooth operations and required performance
  
• Ensure strict conformance of staff practices with company's policies and supply chain operations
  
• Acquire and develop new quality suppliers/ contractors, and conduct supplier audit/ evaluation
  
• Identify inventory levels of each stock item to ensure availability and other related requirements
  
• Identify work parameters to measure and strengthen performance efficiency, and conduct staff performance review
  
• Identify and execute process improvement opportunities and cost-saving measures
  
• Communicate with the Accounting, Finance, Operations and Overseas Supply Chain Units to acquire smooth coordination
  
• Develop the communication and reporting system, prepare reports as required

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age around 35-45 years (40-45 range is preferable)
  
• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Science, Economics, or Finance; an MBA would be advantage
  
• Experience in supply chain operations for petrochemical/ chemicals industry
  
• Strong leadership with analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  
• Good command of both spoken and written English
