Warehouse & Logistics Manager - Premium Furniture

An importer and exclusive distributor of high-end furniture brands from the U.S.A. wishes to appoint a highly experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager.

The Warehouse and Logistics Manager is expected to:

Ensure effective operations of receiving, storage, inventory, repair, and delivery of both new products and repair products
Establish and enforce conformance of practices with corporate standards, work procedures, safety and environmental standards
Prepare the budget plan and ensure cost-effective spending
Ensure stock accuracy at all time thorough precise inspection and recording, effective cycle counting, monthly reporting and effective control system
Ensure warehouse space optimization
Select and monitor the performance of sub-contractors on product clearance, shipments, and delivery to customers
Coordinate with freight-forwarders for the arrival and un-loading of containers
Manage un-loading of containers as well as quality control of all products
Collaborate with the Brand Manager and sales team to plan on daily, weekly assignments and strengthen customer satisfaction
Monitor and prepare reports on actual team performance against key performance indicators

Qualifications and skills required:

Thai nationality, age over 35 year
Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/ Logistics Management
At least 8 years experience in warehouse and logistics operations; minimum 2 years at a management level
Background in warehouse and logistics management of imported products
Keen on operating MS Office or warehousing application
Pro-active with strong service-mindedness and business network
Good organization, communication, negotiation, problem-solving skills
Good command of both written and spoken English
