Thailand is the base for the company's Management and Engineering Centre for South East Asia .

Reporting to the expatriate Managing Director, in Thailand , and functionally to the General Manager Sales and Marketing in Australia , the Regional Sales & Marketing Manager will:

Responsibilities:

• implement, manage and co-ordinate the sales and marketing activities for in Thailand and the Asia region in accordance with an agreed marketing plan and business growth objectives
• manage the company's promotion and publicity, and maintain both internal and external company image
• manage the bidding and tender process
• provide critical client feedback and overall direction to the company business plan and support to the management team to ensure client objectives are achieved
• manage and develop Sales and Marketing staff to meet company goals

Authority:

• sign off on bids, commercial and technical proposals
• company procedures relating to sales, marketing and promotional material
• proposal budgets
• advertising and marketing expenditure
• media and press releases, and public statements about projects
• project datasheets specifically related to Thailand and Asia regional activities

Required Qualifications and Competencies

• engineering qualification
• successful management of projects or business unit
• successful engineering management of projects
• previous responsibilities in sales or marketing
• experience in proposals management
• fluent in oral and written communication in English
