A subsidiary of American-owned manufacturer of automotive parts wishes to appoint an enthusiastic Materials Planning and Logistics Manager. The corporation operates in 26 countries with innovative technology, quality management standards, and corporate social responsibilities.

Based in the Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate, Rayong and reporting to the expatriate Managing Director, the Materials Planning and Logistics Manager will:

• Support the manufacturing operations in the areas of scheduling, material distribution parts and materials support, new model co-ordination, change control, BOM management
• Source quality suppliers of production and non-production items as well as related outsourced services
• Monitor performance of all suppliers and outsourced services, facilitate performance improvement of suppliers and outsourced services to ensure quality performance
• Enforce FIFO concept in inventory management and warehousing
• Facilitate launches of new products as well as delivery of all existing products
• Ensure efficient and accurate material management system
• Ensure a competent team, facilitate training and development, and monitor individual staff performance to ensure business objectives are achieved

Qualifications and skills required :

• Thai national, above 32 years of age
• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or other related field
• Minimum 5 years experience at a supervisory level in materials management, inventory control, and warehousing
• Keen on operating ERP, MRP system and MS Office package
• Result-oriented with strong organizing, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Good command in both spoken and written English
