A British company providing engineering design and project management services for the oil and gas, chemical and power generation industries wishes to appoint an experienced Project Engineers (2 positions). The corporation employs over 1,250 people working in 14 offices worldwide.

Based in the Bangkok Office, the Senior Project Engineers will:

• Prepare technical proposals and project estimates
• Review detailed design for the oil and gas or petrochemical projects
• Manage design interfaces
• Implement project management procedures
• Conduct client liaison as well as customer satisfaction surveys
• Enforce HAZIDs, HAZOPs procedures
• Prepare progress reports and financial reports

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age 30 years up
• Degree in an Engineering field with engineering license class II
• Minimum 10 years experience in project management within the oil and gas or petrochemical industries; minimum 3 years of design projects and 3 years of construction projects
• Overseas work experience would be an advantage, particularly in a Middle East country
• Experience in directing a small project team of engineers and designers
• Knowledge in international codes, SHE and quality management standards
• Knowledge in pipeline and related facilities design and construction would be an advantage
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Result-oriented, with organizing, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English
