A leading developer, manufacturer, and supplier of automotive safety systems, such as air-bags and seat-belts wishes to appoint an experienced Packaging Engineer. The corporation's headquarters is located in Sweden ; products are supplied to many automobile assemblers.

Reporting to the Plant Manager (expatriate), the Packaging Engineer w ill:

• Lead the cross-functional (production, procurement, service, and finance) packaging development project to develop, test, and commercialize the packaging innovation
• Develop cooperative work relations with internal and external manufacturing plants as well as suppliers
• Prepare, review, and organize packaging documentation
• Contribute to the VEVA packing projects
• Conduct feasibility study on returnable packaging
• Implement the quality and environment standards

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age around 30 years
• Degree in Materials Science or Packaging Technology
• Minimum 6 years experience in the process of corrugated and plastic materials
• Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards and productivity improvement techniques (JIT, Kaizen, lean manufacturing)
• Ability to operate Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (2D 3D), Prototype
• Good command of both written and spoken English
