An international manufacturer of flat steel products used in construction, automotive and related industries wishes to recruit very experienced Supply Chain and Logistics Manager.

Reporting to the President, the Vice-President , Supply Chain and Logistics will:

• Lead the development and implementation of the Supply Chain (Planning and Scheduling), Procurement, Customer Service and Logistics components of the company Business and Strategy plans
• As a member of the Management team, participate in corporate strategy development and management (integration of global context and local application), identify business targets, objectives, and operational plans
• Establish policies and standard work procedures in procurement, inventory, delivery, distribution, and customer services
• Monitor conformance of practices against company policies and standard work procedures
• Ensure effective management of inventory and assets in relation to business profitability
• Manage logistics contracts; ensure quality delivery performance with cost consciousness
• Ensure required procurement performance with maximum value of products/ services at reasonable cost
• Manage the SHE standard to achieve the zero-harm target
• Contribute to the capacity development, both technology-wise and people-wise
• Contribute to the regional ( Asia ) strategy development and execution of manufacturing, procurement, customer services, and distribution

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age between 35 - 48 years
• Degree in Production, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven track-record in supply chain management of a manufacturing business; minimum 5-years experience at a management level
• Background in managing safety, health, environment as well as related quality management standards
• Strategic thinker with extensive business network
• Excellent organizing, communication, problem-solving, and people development attributes
• Good command of both spoken and written English
