A middle-sized commercial bank wishes to appoint an experienced Sourcing Leader.

The Sourcing Leader is expected to:

• Formulate purchasing strategies and work procedures in alignment with the corporate policies and objectives
• Communicate and coordinate with all Business Units to facilitate clear communications and ensure required services of the Purchasing Team
• Oversee the PO process as well as the process of receipt, storage, and delivery of purchased supplies and equipment
• Monitor purchasing contracts, payment obligation and propose alteration as appropriate
• Implement quality management standard as well as safety and environmental management standards
• Manage team members to ensure attainment of required performance and conformance with policies and regulations
• Organize and update the quality supplier database, cost database, etc.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of sourcing/ purchasing reports

Qualifications and skills required:

• Thai national, age around 35 years
• Degree in Business Administration or other related field
• At least 10 years experience in purchasing operation and management; minimum 5 years supervisory level
• Ability to source quality outsourced services of all needed services including IT; plus working knowledge of supply chain operatio n and related laws
• Background in quality management standard, safety and environmental management standards
• Computer literacy
• Strong organization, communications, presentation, and team management skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English
